10 tips to help your child build up her writing skills
Children express themselves in many ways. Whether it be art, craft, dancing or singing, they enjoy expressing themselves. Writing too is an expression of their thoughts. Today, writing has become a difficult and boring task as we ask children to write dull meaningless assignments for an unknown audience. They also complain of what to write. They don’t seem to have the correct words to express themselves. They are not confident writers. What then is the solution to this? Here are some hacks to help you. 1. Select a topic your child will enjoy writing . Discuss before assigning the task. 2. Create a spark! Do something different . (Play a game, watch a movie together) Ask your child to write on it immediately. Compare your perspective with her. 3. Ask simple questions to build up a story . E.g.
